Feed Learning LLC, its affiliates, subcontractors, and its and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents and other personnel (collectively, “FEED”, “we”, “us” or “our”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through compliance with this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”).  This Policy describes our policies and practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing information that we collect from you or that you provide to us when you visit our website, www.feedlearning.com (our “Website”), participate in our workshops and webinars, subscribe to our newsletter or use any of our other products or services made available by us and and the administration of the relationship with our employees and service providers (collectively with our Website, our “Services”). 

1. Your Consent

Please read this Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it.  By accessing or using our Services, you agree that this Policy governs our collection, use, maintenance, protection and disclosure of any information submitted to us on or through our Services.  If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, you are agreeing to this Policy for that entity and are representing to us that you have the authority to do so (in which case “you” will refer to that entity).  If you do not agree to be bound by this Policy, you may not access or use our Services.

This Policy covers only information collected through our Services and not through any other information collection or processing, including services offered by other companies or individuals that have separate privacy policies that do not incorporate this Policy.

We collect both personal and non-personal information.  When we refer to “personal information” in this Policy, we mean information that can be used to identify you as an individual, household or device, including in the following categories:

The above information will be provided to us by you, your employer, the company or organization who is our client, service provider or supplier, as well as any screening providers who assist us with our legal obligations to conduct anti-money laundering and regulatory checks.

4. Collection Methods

FEED collects information about you from various sources:

Information you provide.  You may choose to voluntarily provide information to us, for example when you register and use any of our Services, fill in forms, request information from us, respond to our inquiries or otherwise voluntarily send us information in relation to an actual or potential business or employment relationship with us.  We collect your information, including personal information, when you or others upload, share, send, or input that information through our Services or networks or when you or they communicate with us.

Information collected automatically.  We may also collect information by automated means.  When you visit our Website, use our other Services, open emails or view advertisements from us or communicate with us, we may collect information that is sent to us automatically from your computer, mobile device or web browser, including through the use of cookies, web beacons or other similar technologies.  We may also allow other companies, such as third-party web analytics service providers or advertisers, to collect data about traffic through our Website or web applications via cookies or web beacons.

Third party sources.  We also may obtain information about you from third party business partners and publicly available information systems, such governmental agencies who publish public records; consumer reporting agencies, and commercial information services, like data brokers and advertising partners.

5. Personal Information About Others

In some cases, you may provide personal information to us about other people (such as your employees, officers, directors, shareholders or beneficial owners, customers, suppliers or contractors). You must ensure that you have given those individuals an appropriate notice that you are providing their information to us and have obtained their consent to that disclosure.

We may use your information, including personal information, collected for a number of reasons, including for purposes you have given us specific consent; where it is necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or for our, or a third party’s, legitimate business interests.  The legitimate business interest purposes for which we collect and use your information include:

  • fulfilling our contractual obligations, including providing our Services to you and facilitating your participation in our Services, including workshops and webinars, and related event logistics and communications;

  • managing and administering our relationship with you and/or your company or organization, including keeping records about business contacts, services and payments so we can customize our offering for you, develop our relationship and target our marketing and promotional campaigns;

  • communicating with you, including providing you with information and notices related to your use of our Services, updates, industry insights, special offers and promotional content and other information we believe will be of interest to you;

  • soliciting surveys and feedback, including inviting you to participate in case studies and surveys and to provide feedback to us, conducting research to monitor and improve our Services, content and products and to develop new services, products and offerings;

  • managing our business operations, including relationships with our business partners, suppliers who deliver products and services to us or directly to you;

  • monitoring our Website, including ensuring that our Website and other technology services are being used appropriately and to optimize their functionality;

  • ensuring online security, including protecting our information technology from unauthorised access or usage and to monitor for malware and other security threats;

  • managing employee relationship, including evaluating your interest in employment and contacting you regarding possible employment with FEED, facilitating background checks, onboarding process and employee benefits management;

  • complying with legal requirements, including verification of your identity and undertaking due diligence (under anti-money laundering or other crime prevention and detection laws and regulatory requirements) to prevent fraud, corruption or crime;

  • enforcing terms of our contractual agreements, including our engagement letter, terms of use, service or other agreements; and

  • other legitimate business interests, including effectuating the sale, merger, acquisition, or other disposition of our business; and advancing our other commercial and economic interests as permitted by law.

7. Information Sharing

We do not share, sell or otherwise disclose your information, including personal information, with third parties, except as described in this Policy or otherwise disclosed to you at the time the information is collected.

We may share your information, including personal information, with:

  • your organization and contacts, in relation to us providing our Services;

  • business partners and service providers, who support our business, including outsourced business, agents, contractors, consultants, professional advisers, vendors, insurance providers, IT and communication suppliers, human resources, marketing and advertising agencies, data back-up suppliers and operations;

  • law enforcement, governmental agencies or other parties, when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law, regulation, legal requirement, a court order, or a subpoena; law enforcement to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to protect the security of our Services; to enforce or apply our terms of use or other agreements; or to protect our own rights or property or the rights, property or safety of our users or others;

  • courts or other governmental agencies, in connection with a merger, bankruptcy, liquidation, dissolution or other related proceedings and filings;

  • third parties, in connection with a prospective or actual sale, merger, transfer or other disposition of all or parts of our business or assets.  If such transfer occurs, we will use reasonable efforts to direct the transferee to use personal information you have provided to us in a manner consistent with this Policy. Following such a sale or transfer, you may contact the person or entity to which we transferred your personal information with any inquiries concerning the processing of that information;

  • other delegates, where your name will appear on the attendee list for events we host or organize where you have told us you plan to attend; and

  • permitted parties, where you have granted us permission or when necessary to fulfill your consents or to follow your instructions.

8. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, physical and technological measures to protect the confidentiality and security of your information.  Unfortunately, no Website, server, database or e-mail transmission is completely secure or error-free.  We therefore cannot guarantee that your information will not be disclosed, misused or lost by accident or by the unauthorized acts of others and any transmission of your information, including personal information, is at your own risk.  If an incident is reported affecting your personal information, we will investigate and comply with all required reporting obligations.

9. User Rights and Choices

We offer you certain choices about what information we collect from you, how we use that information, and how we communicate with you.  

Decline.  When you are asked to provide information to us, you may choose to decline to provide such information.  If you decline to provide such information, your ability to use applicable Services may be diminished or restricted.

Opt-in/out.  In some circumstances, such as e-mail marketing, we offer you the ability to opt-in or opt-out of some kinds of information collection, use or communications.  In such circumstances, we will respect your choice.  For example, you can opt-out of receiving marketing e-mails by emailing us at hello@feedlearning.com. Please also note that we may still send you important administrative messages.

Cookies.  You have the option to accept or disable cookies at any time by activating the appropriate setting on your browser or activating the appropriate settings in your computer or mobile device.  If you choose to disable your cookies, your ability to use applicable Services may be diminished.

Do Not Track.  Certain web browsers enable users to activate a “Do Not Track” signal but we do not currently respond to the “Do Not Track” signal or other similar mechanisms.

Access.  Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request access to and receive information about the personal information we maintain about you, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information, and have the information blocked or deleted, as appropriate.  Upon appropriate request, we will update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information but we reserve the right to use information obtained previously to verify your identity.  If we are unable to verify your identity or if the law permits or requires us to do so, we may limit or deny your request.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our services are intended for adults.  We do not intentionally or knowingly collect personal information from children or other persons who are under 16 years old, and we request that children or other persons who are under 16 years old do not submit any information to us.  If you believe we might have any information from or about a child or other person who is under 16 years old, please email us at hello@feedlearning.com.

11. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Services may contain links to other websites not controlled or operated by us.  This Policy does not apply to third-party linked websites, which may have their own privacy policies.  We strongly suggest you review the third parties’ privacy policies if you access such websites.  In addition, links from the Services to third-party linked websites do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed content of such websites.

12. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to change, modify, add or remove portions of this Policy at any time, with or without notice to you.  When we do, we will post the revised version on our Website and indicate the date this Policy was last revised.  When you access our Website or use our other Services, you are accepting the current version of this Policy.  We strongly suggest you regularly revisit this Policy to learn of any changes or amendments.
